Step #1

1)Pierce the Eyes on to the hook.

Step #2

2) Put a base layer of thread onto the hook and add some cement, slide the eyes into position and tie in place.

Step #3

3) Tie black marabou and 4 pieces of flashabou onto the bend end of the hook.

Step #4

4) Tie hollow braid, copper rib wire and one grizzly hackle onto the bend end of the hook.

Step #5

5) Wrap the hollow braid towards the eye end of the hook and secure in place.

Step #6

6) Wrap your grizzly hackle evenly spaced toward the eyes. Then wrap in reverse direction with copper wire.

Step #7

7) Add flashabou and cement for extra strength.

Step #8

8) Tie approx. 50 strands of deer hair above the eyes to form and head and wing.

Step #9

9) Trim the deer hair to form the head portion of your fly.
